We’ve been there too. 

We’ve done everything from following all the free online programs to walking into a first comp with no coach and having no idea what to expect. We’ve felt out of place at a commercial gym but also intimidated to walk into a strength gym.

That’s why we created this space to help people like you start out their strength journey. If you want to compete, this could mean being able to break into a sport that challenges you. Or if you just want to get strong, you’ll be able to walk into a gym without feeling scared and lift some heavy weight (without needing supervision).

In my time getting coached through Nemesis Performance (specifically Nat) I was able to address and fix many of my problems when it comes to my training. I added about 30 - 40% to my lift totals while being coached. She really took into account how I liked to train and began by programming me with that as the reference. Then when it became clear I was requiring more rest due to plateau and fatigue, she floated (not forced) the idea of decreasing training days. Just by doing this my energy levels peaked again and that was fixed. The online feedback system is very easy to use and Nat was always on point with providing timely feedback to my recorded lifts. I was never going to compete but with Nat's input and confidence in me I entered a competition. The day went smooth with Nat organising all of my warm ups and setting my lift attempts. If you are new to powerlifting or just are looking to better your training I cannot recommend them highly enough!

I've been under coach Nick's wing for just over a year now and my growth has been exponential since. I started as a complete newbie to powerlifting and have gained so much more confidence as a lifter and in myself as a person. His programming is tailored to suit me and he makes it easy to communicate openly with him about anything and everything to do with my goals and training. Nick also emphasises the importance of life/training balance which is so important to me with the busy and unpredictable lifestyle that I live and I'm grateful to have him in my corner. Since working with Nemesis Performance (namely Coach Nick) I've found a slight joy in working out and achieving new strength goals that just keep going. Also have found myself signing up for a powerlifting comp in May 2023 which I never thought I'd do, with Nemesis Performance on my side it should be a fun experience to go through together.

Nat has been my coach for about 3 years and has helped me make amazing progress with my goals; I'm more muscular than I've ever been and I recently just hit a new bench press PB of 110kg (body weight ~77kg). I have been receiving coaching one on one continuously with Natalie since May 2020, in that time I have been able to see major improvements in my mental and physical well-being. Natalie has supported me through app chats and one on one calls so I’ve never for a second felt like a had a distant coach, you know the ones that give you plans to follow but then never follow up with you during that week? Natalie is there beside you celebrating your victories and patting you on the shoulder when the week was tough and cheering you on to get back up on your feet. It’s through her love of nutrition and coaching I have managed to keep a steadily decreasing weight even through times of personal hardship. The most helpful thing about Natalies coaching is not just Natalie herself but the fact is that she is a human who understands and guide you through human problems.

Nat’s impressive breadth and depth of knowledge are precisely the reasons she can uniquely offer me the kind of coaching I value most: flexible. I have a love for strength and skill-based exercise and motivation to train is something that fortunately comes naturally for me. When you meet with your nutrition coach and tell them you have pcos, insulin resistance and need to lose 9kg before your next competition in a short time frame, most will run from such a challenge. If you want a coach who will run towards your challenges and find solutions nat is who you have been looking for. Nat has a very practical approach to her coaching, no boring plans or fads, just practical and targeted nutrition. as a strong woman athlete my concern was losing my strength during my weight loss. if anything, im lifting better then i have before. if you want someone who is passionate and driven by what they do, you need to see nat.
